The Role

We’re looking for a phone-first SDR to support outbound sales on a part-time contract basis. This role is ideal for an ex-agency recruiter who enjoys cold calling, wants a sales-focused role, and likes being early in a fast-growing startup. You’ll be speaking directly with founders and senior hiring leaders, opening conversations and booking meetings/demos. If you don’t enjoy cold calling, this role is not for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Cold call UK businesses that fit our ICP
  • Book meetings and demos
  • Log activity in the CRM
  • Share feedback on objections and market response
  • Comfortable sharing JOBBA content and updates on LinkedIn as part of building awareness and pipeline.

Non-Negotiables

  • 2+ years’ experience working for a recruitment agency
  • Proven B2B cold-calling / BD experience
  • Confident speaking with senior decision-makers
  • Commercially minded and outbound-driven
  • You must be UK-based

Contract & Pay

  • Freelance / Contract
  • 2–3 days per week (8 hours per day)
  • £150 day rate (can offer more for the right individual)
  • Fully remote (UK only)
  • Laptop provided
  • Occasional in-person meet-ups (paid for by us)

Commission

You will have the choice between two commission structures:

  • One-time bonus when you sign up a new business
  • Percentage of revenue from accounts you introduce

Location

Ideally North East / Newcastle, but strong UK-based candidates welcome.
