General Assistant (Pick & Pack) - London
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a General Assistant (Pick & Pack) to work with a leading catering provider in London. In this fast-paced role, you will be the engine behind the flight, ensuring everything is prepared to exact specifications.
Shift Patterns:
- Working 5 days out of 7 days
- Flexibility is required for rotational shifts and varying days
Pay Rates:
- 14.02 GBP hourly
Essential Requirements for General Assistant (Pick & Pack):
- Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years
- No unspent convictions
- Experience or ability in food handling
- Ability to pass security vetting including 5-year background and DBS checks
Role Responsibilities for General Assistant (Pick & Pack):
- Off-load and process airline trolleys
- Sort high-value catering items
- Pack meals to exact specifications including handling various meats
- Prepare inflight retail supplies and assist with stock counts
- Manage bonded goods while maintaining strict food hygiene standards in chilled environments
