We are currently recruiting for Picker Packer positions in Burton-Upon-Trent (DE14 2UZ). At Waterstones Bookseller, you will become part of a supportive and welcoming team, working under the guidance of inspiring leaders across various departments. Our dedicated on-site team is here to assist you in your role, ensuring you have the resources and support needed to excel in your position.
Role of a Picker Packer:
- Order picking and packaging books and toys using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy
- Duties may include but not limited to sorting, picking and packing.
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
- Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
- Assist other team members as necessary
- Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks
- To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business and undertake any other reasonable duties as allocated
As a Picker Packer you will need to have:
- Flexibility regarding shifts and availability for overtimes
- Physically fit and capable of maintaining physical activity
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to give attention to detail

- Overtime : £19.05
- Location: Burton On Trent, DE14 2UZ
- Various shifts available - AM/PM - any 5 days out of 7, Sunday work is required
