Overview
MHE DRIVERS REQUIRED – FULL-TIME ONLY!
We are recruiting for various MHE Operative Roles – including FLT (Counter balance) or Reach Truck in Unipart Logistics at Dordon, Tamworth (B78 1BF). Our client is seeking MHE drivers for their busy, rapidly expanding site. You will be working as part of a busy and committed team, servicing more than 900 retailers and trade partners across the UK and Ireland for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, SKODA, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and the Volkswagen Group\’s Trade Parts Services business.
Requirements
As a MHE Driver you will need to have:
- Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write basic English
- Able to follow instructions
- Numerical and focused on accuracy
- Ability to give attention to detail
- Good awareness of Health & Safety
- A Forklift Licence is REQUIRED

Salary
- Basic £12.78 (applies after passing internal training)
- Days – £13.08
- Afternoons – £13.08 + £2.40 after 8pm

- Rotation: 05:00 – 13:30 / 13:30 – 22:00

Role of a MHE Driver
- Operating a MHE truck to load and unload goods
- Loading/unloading stock on the warehouse racking
- Moving stock around the warehouse to make space for new products arriving
- Operating MHE trucks and manually loading/off-loading smaller stock items
- Working as a team to meet targets in all areas of the warehouse
- Handling and storing materials safely and efficiently
- Picking and packing orders according to company standards
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
- Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
- Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks
