PEV Mechanic – Milton Keynes – Earn up to Β£12.50/h – Apply Now!
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for PEV Mechanic to work with an important company in Milton Keynes – leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.
Shift Patterns:
- Mon-Fri 7:30-15:30,
Pay Rates
- Β£13.50/h
As a PEV Mechanic you will need to have:
- Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry
- An electrical engineering or mechanic background – qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar are hugely advantageous
- Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
- Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
- Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others -teamwork is key to success!
Role of a PEV Mechanic:
- Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles
- Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
- Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
- Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
- Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
- Safely operate a pallet jack and/or push cart on a frequent basis
- Additional job related tasks as assigned
- Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
