At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Team Leader to work with a leading company in the food manufacturing and distribution sector in Hatfield. This role focuses on supervising daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and legal compliance within a fast-paced environment.
Shift Patterns:
- 06:00 - 18:00, Monday to Sunday
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Pay Rates:
- 16.45 GBP hourly
Essential Requirements for Team Leader:
- Previous office or transport experience
Skills and Qualifications for Team Leader:
- Self-disciplined and able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
- Basic maths skills and effective written and spoken English
Role Responsibilities for Team Leader:
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and legal compliance
- Manage staff allocation, training, inductions, and performance
- Ensure driver compliance, vehicle safety, and fleet maintenance
- Maintain accurate operational records and audit documentation
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations
- Identify improvements to operational performance and service quality
Location: Hatfield. This position is based in a key operational hub.
