Job&Talent is recruiting for an experienced Administrative Assistant at Wood Business Park, Hook. We are looking for hard‑working, experienced administrators to join the core team members and contribute to the operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front‑desk operations, visitor reception, calls, and courier/mail handling.
  • Maintain physical and digital filing systems for contracts, vendor agreements, invoices, and compliance records.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the leadership team.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day coordination with contractors, sub‑contractors, and service providers engaged in the facility fit‑out.
  • Assist in processing vendor invoices, petty cash, and expense reports.
  • Support HR activities including onboarding documentation, attendance, and leave records.
  • Maintain stores and inventory for spares, consumables, tools, and fit‑out materials required for installation and commissioning.

Note: This role requires a long‑term commitment and is not suitable for candidates looking for just one or two days per week. It is a permanent position.

Qualifications:

  • 2‑4 years of experience in an administrative or office support role; prior exposure to a factory, manufacturing, or project/construction‑site environment is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A ‘can‑do’, right‑first‑time, and passionate approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preference for Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; regional language proficiency is a plus.

Salary and Working Hours:

Starting at £13.50 basic rate per hour. Positions available for a minimum of 5 days a week (Monday‑Friday). Hours of work: Monday‑Saturday 0900‑1700.
