At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Food Production Operative to work with an important company in the Warrington WA5 3TP area. THG | Myprotein is a leading sports nutrition brand, delivering a range of quality products including protein powder, vitamins and minerals, high-protein foods, snack alternatives.
Note: As this is a 5:45 am start, if you live outside of Warrington please ensure that you have your own transport.
Shift Patterns
Monday β Friday Rotation Morning / Afternoon
- Week 1: Mon β Thurs 05:45 β 14:15; Friday 06:00 β 14:00
- Week 2: Mon β Thurs 13:45 β 22:15; Friday 14:00 β 22:00
Weekly rotation from Week 1 to Week 2 timetable is mandatory.
Pay Rates
- Day shift Β£12.61 p/h
- After 6pm Β£14.01 p/h
- 30 minutes paid break
- Overtime: 1.5 x basic pay rate after 42 hours worked in one week
Requirements
- Interest to learn new skills and processes as full training will be provided.
- Communication and numeracy skills β a good level of English is required.
- Good attention to details.
- Excellent Timekeeping and high performance.
- This is a full-time role; you must have full-time Right to Work permitted.
Role of a Food Production Operative
- Working within a busy/fast paced environment which requires a high level of dexterity and accuracy.
- Manual weighing out of ingredients of bags up to 25kg β following a recipe.
- Quality checking and reporting results
- Working to a schedule as part of a team
- Clean-down the station and other manufacturing areas between batches and allergens
- Checking of batches & quantities
- Checking documentation to ensure products are packed in line with specification.
- Complete all health and safety checks and actions in line with company procedure.
