Requirements:

  • Able to work Monday to Friday (additional hours may be offered if required by the Council including weekends)
  • Working Monday to Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-2:30pm, 37-hour working week
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work as part of a team
  • Committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Start dates are ASAP
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal.
  • Operate a range of power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for trimming, edging, and general grounds care.
  • Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas requiring attention or repair.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Experience of using Strimmers, hedge cutters, Ride on Lawn mowers and other horticultural machinery.
  • Ideally have a PA1 or PA6 spraying licence.
  • Any other duties required by the team.
