We are recruiting for Forklift Driver roles in the Chartham, Canterbury area. Please note: Due to the limited public transport options to the client’s location, own transport is essential for this role. While the site can be reached via train to Canterbury and a bus to Chartham followed by a 20-minute walk, this is not practical for daily commuting.
Requirements- Good communication skills
- Basic level of English
- Valid FLT Licence
- Previous experience working within a similar role within the fruit industry
- Salary: Based on experience from £12.90 - £14.56
- Working Hours: shifts start at either 6:30 am or 7:00 am and are 12 hours long. Full-time
- Location: Nickle Farm, Chartham, Canterbury, Kent. CT4 7PG
- Duration: Ongoing
- Supply the Packhouse with correct stock (crates, boxes, pallets) to maintain production flow
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and operate the forklift safely at all times
- Follow stock sheets and allocation instructions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Report any damage, faults, or safety issues to the Manager promptly
