We are currently looking for people that have a passion for wines and spirits and want to develop a career in the challenging world of retail.
Starting from a shop advisor role you will be trained to further your product knowledge and improve your sales skills. If you prove yourself then there is the opportunity to become an assistant manager, and then a full store manager, learning along the way.

The main job responsibilities
- Generating sales in a proactive manner
- Advising our customers on the best product for their requirements and ideal food matches
- Encouraging customers through store-specific events, offers and our loyalty scheme
- Working alone with confidence or efficiently as part of a team
- Merchandising the shop floor and window displays
- Ensuring accurate stock management and stock taking
- Implementing and understanding promotions
- Ensuring that the store is clean and tidy at all times
- Attending training sessions when required
- Responsible retail β learning the company code of conduct, health and safety best practices, alcohol sales law and taking a personal license exam

The ideal candidate will have
- Some sales or other retail experience
- The desire to provide great customer service
- Some wine and spirits knowledge and the willingness to learn more
- A can-do attitude and the ability to solve problems under pressure
- The ability and willingness to work alone or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
- Basic computer literacy
- Lots of enthusiasm for the drinks industry
- The right to work within the UK
Pay: From Β£24,000 per year full-time (40 hours a week)/ Β£12.75 hour part-time (ideally30-35 hours a week)
