Your expertise will be crucial in conducting root cause analysis for non-conformance issues and implementing corrective actions, all while fostering a safe working environment.
- Define and implement manufacturing processes for Gas Turbine components and sub-assemblies.
- Create and maintain essential documentation, including Manufacturing Routings and instructions.
- Lead NC programming for multi-axis machines and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Conduct investigations into non-conformance, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Design, Assembly, Quality, and Procurement teams to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Strong knowledge of modern machining and manufacturing processes, particularly in low-volume, high-accuracy environments like Aerospace or Power Generation. Proficiency in CAD CAM, NC Programming, and a fundamental understanding of gas turbines. Relevant qualifications such as HNC, BEng, or equivalent, along with training in CAD CAM, NC Programming, and LEAN methodologies. Experience in a modern manufacturing facility with a focus on machining and forming techniques.
