About the role
You’ll be providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access learning and reach their potential in a nurturing school environment. Working closely with teachers, the SENCO, and outside professionals, you’ll play a key role in supporting social, emotional, and academic progress.
Duties include
- Providing tailored classroom support to children with additional needs.
- Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Supporting the development of social and communication skills.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

- Experience supporting children with SEN (especially autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs) is desirable.
- A proactive, empathetic attitude and the ability to build strong relationships.
