Job Description

Digital Account Manager

£40,000 - £50,000 + bonus

London (2 days per week in office)

Our client

We’re supporting a specialist digital growth agency in the healthcare sector. Our client delivers campaigns across paid media, web, CRM, content and SEO, helping businesses grow whilst taking the stress out of their marketing.

AI is central to how they work. They’ve developed their own tools for campaign copy and video scripts, alongside automations that support planning and delivery. This gives their team more time to focus on quality, coordination and client relationships.

They invest in their people, with support to develop your skills and progress within the business. You’ll join a collaborative team that values clear communication, welcomes feedback and encourages everyone to take ownership and contribute ideas.

The role

We’re looking for a Digital Account Manager with experience across both paid media and SEO, who can build strong client relationships and confidently lead conversations around digital strategy and performance.

You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact and working closely with digital specialists to ensure campaigns and projects deliver against their business objectives.

Our client's customers are predominantly smaller, owner-managed businesses, so you'll need to be comfortable translating complex digital performance into clear, practical recommendations for people who aren't necessarily marketers themselves.

Importantly, this isn't just a role where you'll relay information between clients and specialists. You'll need enough hands-on experience across paid media and SEO to interpret performance independently, challenge recommendations where necessary, and form your own view on what clients should be doing next.

Some of the things you’ll be involved in:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of clients, building trust and ensuring they're confident in the work being delivered.
  • Lead regular client calls, including monthly performance reviews, strategy discussions and project updates.
  • Work with the Digital Director and wider team to develop and refine digital strategies across paid media, SEO and other channels.
  • Analyse performance across Google Ads, GA4 and Google Search Console, identifying opportunities, issues and areas for improvement.
  • Translate campaign results into clear, actionable recommendations that support clients' commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate internal specialists across paid media, SEO, web, content and CRM, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Brief internal teams, monitor project progress and quality-check deliverables before they reach clients.
  • Identify potential issues with performance, delivery or client expectations early, working with the team to resolve them.
  • Challenge existing approaches and contribute ideas to improve client performance, processes and service delivery

The ideal Digital Account Manager has:

  • Around 3–4+ years' experience in digital account management or client services, ideally within an agency.
  • Experience working across both paid media and SEO, with sufficient hands-on knowledge to understand performance and challenge channel specialists.
  • Confidence using Google Ads, GA4 and Google Search Console to analyse performance and identify opportunities.
  • Broader understanding of websites, CRO, content and CRM, and how these fit into an integrated digital strategy.
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead strategic conversations directly with business owners.
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to turn digital performance data into meaningful recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate different teams to deliver high-quality work.
  • A proactive approach, taking ownership of problems and challenging recommendations when necessary.

The perks

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off.
  • Flexible working over Christmas / New Year in addition to holiday allowance.
  • Bonus scheme.
  • A budget for tailored learning plan, including industry events.
  • Company laptop.
  • Pension contributions.
  • Hybrid working.
  • 1-2 work retreats per annum.
  • Mental wellness support and Headspace subscription.
