Job Description:
- Leadership and Team Management: Act as a player-coach, managing and mentoring a team of 2-3 salespeople while driving individual revenue.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve booking, billing, and profitability targets for the region.
- Business Development: Prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate, and close mid/large-sized business deals. Develop a healthy pipeline of suspects and prospects and accurately forecast business deals to be closed.
- Market Expansion: Execute GTM strategies for new leads and pipeline, win new accounts, and expand business in existing accounts for Customer Experience Management Solutions, Platform Engineering, Data & Integration solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build credible and lasting relationships with prospects and customers for repeat business. Set customer expectations consistent with service offerings and delivery potential.
- Channel Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive channel strategy/multipoint lead generation.
- Representation: Attend and represent the company at various business and industry meetings and trade shows.
The Successful Applicant:
- Minimum 10-12 years in IT Services sales in the European Market, with exposure to the EMEA region being advantageous.
- Proven track record and excellent sales credentials.
- Experience in solution selling and new account generation (hunting) in Customer Experience Management Solutions, Platform Engineering, Data & Integration solutions.
- Industry sales experience in Hospitality, Travel/Leisure, Media & Entertainment, or Life science/Pharma sectors.
- Residing in the UK and willing to work across the EMEA region.
- In-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the IT services industry.
- Proven account "hunter" with excellent leadership skills.
- Extensive experience in direct selling of IT solution services.
- Established network of business contacts.
- Knowledge/experience with cloud-based applications - B2B.
- Experience with Managed Services offerings.
- Ability to convince, handle objections, and close big-sized deals quickly.
- Relevant C-level contacts in the European market.
- Dynamic and proactive in sales approach, extremely solution-oriented.
Academic Qualification:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or IT is an added advantage.
