The team provide independent assurance over controls of the Securities Services business globally.The Audit Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi\’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to ensure that the firm meets audit standards and regulations and to work with business leaders to determine solutions for emerging issues.What you\’ll doConsistently develop, execute and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standardsReview and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviewsCollaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on overall control environment and audit approachManage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country levelAdvise the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoptionRecommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issuesApply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and regulations to a specific product or function area Qualifications:Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.What we\’ll need from youA suitable level of Internal Audit or Risk Management Financial Services experience working within a global model and cross-regional teamsUnderstanding and coverage of Securities Services business advantageousDemonstrated successful experience in business, functional and people managementProven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetablesDemonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniquesSelf-Starter to proactively identify risks in the businessRelated certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferredConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication; Excellent soft skills to interact and manage senior stakeholder relationships; Effective negotiation skillsWhat we can offer youThis is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to many parts of the business and to use your technical skills in a different way.This is a role that will offer you the opportunity to build and develop an in-depth knowledge within Internal Audit and drive your career forward.Sounds like Citi has everything you need?
