This is an important role for us, which will work across the Treasury, Finance, and Risk functions.About the role:We are hiring a Treasury Asset and Liability Manager who will be responsible for designing and setting up the relevant methodology, policies, and procedures, developing configuration in the Asset Liability Management system (MORS) related to Balance Sheet Management, including an efficient, transparent, and effective Funds Transfer Pricing methodology and platform to measure product risk and profitability through the lens of Liquidity, Funding, and Interest Rate risks. This role will also contribute to ICAAP and ILAAP processes and assessments, review behavioural analysis, and limit setting.Overseeing and reporting performance metrics into governance committees and forumsAssisting with developing ALM policies and procedures and performing control monitoringEnsuring appropriate oversight of balance sheet and off-balance sheet new and existing products and their impacts on IRRBB and Liquidity metrics is accurately capturedEngaging with the wider Finance team on Bank Profitability activitiesOwning the configuration of the ALM systemEnsuring policy and procedures documentation aligns with requirementsManaging and reporting liquidity, funding, and IRRBB metrics in a timely mannerHelping to innovate and improve the effectiveness of the liquidity management framework and risk management processes to ensure they work for MonzoFostering positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholdersContributing to the development and implementation of Stress testing activities related to Interest Rate risk, Liquidity and Funding risk, and CSRBB measurementsHaving an understanding of Treasury processes and risk management activitiesExperience in Treasury modelling and methodology designApplying strategic thinking and planning skills to formulate, execute, and translate business strategy to determine priorities and goalsKnowledge and experience of ALM systems and configurationsDemonstrating leadership and ability to initiate and drive Treasury initiativesIn-depth understanding of risks embedded in banking book productsProven experience within a regulated financial institution/retail bank environmentStrong awareness of the wider business, economic, and regulatory environmentExcellent facilitation skills for assessing needs and engaging with product owners and senior management regarding product profitabilityExcellent relationship-building skills to listen, influence, present, and communicate with internal and external stakeholdersNot ticking every box?
