We are seeking a digitally focused Commercial operator to optimise the TOPSHOP & TOPMAN trading approach globally as the brands enter their next phase of growth. The role involves building the brands' trading calendar for core geographies, assessing the competitive landscape, and designing commercial actions to communicate our product and brand messages, thereby increasing full-price sales.

The role is based in our London HQ, reports directly to the Managing Director of TOPSHOP & TOPMAN, and works closely with the TSTM Product, Marketing, and Performance & Insights teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the global trading operations for Topshop and Topman across offline and online channels, including Topshop.com and ASOS.com.
  • Collaborate with the Performance & Insights team to develop and monitor customer KPIs, sales, and profit metrics.
  • Utilize a fashion and brand-driven mindset combined with a data-driven approach to define and analyze the global trading strategy.
  • Adjust onsite navigation and content based on customer behavior and seasonality to optimize the customer experience and drive full-price sell-through.
  • Work with the Customer & Marketing team to maximize ROI of marketing activities.
  • Determine and implement regional merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Provide insights on local market preferences to inform category planning and buying.
  • Monitor and benchmark performance across all customer touchpoints and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and develop teams, demonstrating strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills.

TOPSHOP and TOPMAN are iconic British fashion brands with 60 years of heritage, headquartered in London. They have over 2 million customers globally through the ASOS platform and generate approximately Β£200 million in sales. Their mission is to unlock the best of fashion for everyone, emphasizing creativity and innovation.

Future Initiatives:

Following a joint venture between ASOS and HEARTLAND in October 2024, ASOS is creating a dedicated, standalone cross-functional team for TOPSHOP and TOPMAN to unlock significant growth potential. The brands will benefit from ASOS's infrastructure and resources while maintaining creative independence. Over the next 12 months, the brands will expand their offline and online retail presence, including launching Topshop.com and establishing new wholesale partnerships.
