Would you like to take on a role with clear scope for technical growth and responsibility?We have partnered with a global, rapidly growing aerospace organisation who are looking for an Environmental Test Engineer to join their Test & Qualification team, with a direct career path into a management position in the next 1-2 years!Main responsibilities: Environmental Test Engineer Plan, set up and execute environmental and mechanical tests (vibration, thermal cycling, shock, etc.)Develop bespoke test setups and procure fixtures or equipment as neededCollaborate with engineers and project managers across design, NPI and qualification workAnalyse data, write clear and accurate test reports, and support technical reviewsSupport failure investigations and implement continuous improvementsMaintain laboratory procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsOversee equipment calibration and perform preventative maintenanceMentor and train junior staff or technicians in lab procedures and equipment useKey Experience/Skills Required: Environmental Test Engineer Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering or technical disciplineHands-on experience in environmental testing, ideally in aerospace or a regulated industryStrong knowledge of environmental test standards and vibration testing principlesProficient in analysing test data and writing technical documentationFamiliar with Microsoft Office tools and general data handlingStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesAble to work methodically and safely in a lab environmentConfident communicator and team collaboratorIf you\’re looking for an exciting Environmental Test Engineer role where your technical skills will make a real impact and you\’ll be able to grow within a forward-looking engineering team – this is your opportunity.
