Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to a high standard.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain consistent food quality and adherence to health and safety standards during service.
- Manage stock control, rotation, and waste minimisation.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced team environment to deliver top-notch culinary experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef looking to progress.
- Experience in a restaurant setting preparing fresh food to order.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Passionate about food and committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and capable of working under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including lunch services, evenings, and weekends.
