The Technical Operations team sits at an intersection of almost all teams within Captify meaning that you would have an opportunity to see many different aspects of the business. TechOps support the activation of advertising campaigns for our client partners, and assist in resolving technical issues and providing guidance for technical set up to fulfil strategic long term goals. Within this team, you will get an opportunity to work with Sales, Client Strategy, Creative Studio and Activation teams on creative and campaign management across a variety of formats. You will become familiar with the industry leading 3rd parties technologies that Captify partners with and have the opportunity to work closely with our portfolio of advertising clients.

This role would suit you if you are an experienced Ad-Ops Manager or Technical Account Manager who wants to continue to develop your skills and experience in technical topics across the Ad Tech industry. In addition you want to test those skills by explaining complicated topics to those without the same expertise, taking information and simplifying it for others to be able to action. Having a solid technical knowledge in Adservers and DSPs is therefore highly desirable. You will be someone who enjoys diversity and variety, handling tickets/requests from teams and establishing priority is part of being a core support team. Confidence reading and troubleshooting HTML/Javascript code in order to resolve issues and errors with creative code will be required, as well as familiarity with any additional creative ad serving technology such as Celtra. You’ll be someone who loves problem solving, both individually and as part of a team; identifying issues and finding solutions and workarounds, being challenged on a regular basis comes with the role. You will also need to be someone who is comfortable taking client calls and joining client meetings to offer deep technical support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist internal teams (sales, client strategy, account management, trading) and liaise with clients for troubleshooting, joining calls and hot desking in client offices in London.
  • Support effective campaign launches across markets by QAing, trafficking, and auditing creatives on our DSPs.
  • Provide technical support for PSI clients, including creative setup as needed.
  • Maximise efficiency and productivity through ongoing process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Support internal teams with the delivery of product, data, and technological solutions, contributing to validation and scale rollout of new initiatives.
  • Assist in hands-on support for general team deliverables as required by the business.
  • Provide end to end troubleshooting support for campaign-related queries in our ticketing system(s), reducing discrepancies and resolving technical issues.
  • Ownership of SLAs, OKRs and team buddy checks, supporting the Head of Technical Operations with monitoring and improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for technical expertise across the business.
  • Collaborate with TechOps team members to build out technical resources for internal and external use.
  • Work on independent projects to improve processes, automation, and reduce discrepancies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A high degree of technical competency and understanding of Digital Advertising.
  • Experience with DSPs, ad-servers, brand safety vendors, and the wider programmatic landscape and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, XML and JSON.
  • Full understanding of conversion funnels and web analytics, e.g. GA4, google tag manager implementation, website tracking.
  • Experience with various types of creatives, including 3rd party ad-servers and high-impact formats.
  • Comfortable in a client facing environment and providing ad-hoc support to clients as needed.
  • Ability to communicate complex product/tech language to commercial teams and clients.
  • Well-organised with strong time-management skills.
