We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Strategy & Analysis Manager to lead a high-performing team of analysts at the heart of our Commercial function. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy Analysis, you’ll drive business-critical decisions through demand forecasting, revenue modelling, and data-driven insights — all while supporting a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a team of analysts to forecast revenue, evaluate commercial performance, and develop long-term strategic plans
- Drive insight into customer behaviour, pricing, and commercial effectiveness
- Own the commercial business planning cycle and submit key performance reports to the DfT
- Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Compliance to align strategy and performance
- Define the Commercial Department’s data and analytics approach to boost revenue and customer satisfaction
- Deputise for the Head of Commercial Strategy Analysis as required
What we’re looking for:
- Strong commercial experience within the rail industry
- Proven expertise in revenue management, forecasting models, and business planning
- Confidence presenting insights and influencing decisions at senior levels
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
- Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL are a plus, as is familiarity with the PDFH
