The company is responsible for designing, financing, constructing, commissioning, operating, maintaining, and decommissioning the Sizewell C nuclear power plant in Suffolk, including related infrastructure such as hydrogen, air capture, and desalination projects. The current development phase focuses on capital raising, securing regulatory permits, and preparing for construction.Previously part of EDF\’s Nuclear Development business, SZC is transitioning to independent operation, aiming to deliver a new nuclear power plant from investment to decommissioning. The project leverages the technical and commercial model of Hinkley Point C, with EDF as a key nuclear capability provider.What you\’ll be doingThe Sr Marine Methods Engineer will support offshore construction methods development for reinforced concrete structures, coordinating with design teams and supply chain partners to develop and evaluate construction methods, ensuring alignment with project timelines and safety standards.
