We currently have squads across Crypto / Payments / KYC / Core Product and others. We’re pragmatic and believe in having a fluid structure; this means people can find opportunities in different domains or go deeper into a particular domain.What you will doArchitect and develop new and existing products and features on monetizationWork with the head of monetization, other data scientists, and engineers to implement new experimentation and algorithmic pricing features across RAMPs, DeFi Trading, and SwapsCollaborate with other product teams to deliver and improve customer-facing featuresContribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrationsIntegrate and work closely with external service providers that we use to power our servicesMaintain and improve our existing codebaseWrite fully tested, high-quality, performant codeAbout YouExtensive full-stack engineering experience at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies, ideally from marketplace or platform-type businesses where algorithmic pricing and AB testing were heavily usedExperience working on projects involving pricing, promotions, rewards, and/or loyalty programs with backend and frontend technologiesExperience building experimentation platforms and infrastructure for algorithmic pricing solutionsYou know how to leverage continuous delivery for itConfident in developing, releasing, and maintaining server applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment where we work as a team, not in silosExperience with our tech stack, or confident you can cross-train and up-skill quicklyHave a deep understanding of database structures and system designHold Cloud native experience with Google Cloud or similar e.g., AWS, AzureBonus points if you make open-source contributions or have experience in web3What you will be working withTypescript as our programming language of choiceNode.js as our backend platformGoogle Cloud Platform to host our servicesGit/GitHub for code collaborationLaunch Darkly for feature flags and experimentationData Dog for logs, real-time alerting, and monitoringArgo CD for deploymentsRedis for cachingReact as our web frontendGenAI tools such as Cursor (bonus)Most importantly, though, you will embody the core principles that everyone here at MoonPay lives by.
