Electrical Design Engineer – EPLANTo £60k + Overtime, Pension, TRAINING !East AngliaRef: 24293 The Role:Design electrical systems for all projects where required. This includes electrical schematics, cable schedules, BOM’s, control panel layouts and cable managementUtilise electrical design software (EPLAN) to create 2D/3D models, circuit diagrams and any applicable calculations that may be requiredSelect appropriate components, materials and technologies to ensure efficiency and complianceCreate control panel and general arrangement drawings, equipment ID’s, and cable/core identification labelsAttend client sites when required to develop URS / FDSCoordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and ease of implementationPrepare and maintain design documentation and specificationsCreate site layout drawings showing equipment and cable routesManage all required materials, scheduling and workshop builds most efficiently and economicallyTroubleshoot design issues and optimise electrical designs for performance, safety, and efficiencyEnsure all designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company safety policies The Person:Education: HNC/D in Electrical Engineering (desirable).Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electrical Design CAD software (EPLAN essential).Knowledge: Understanding electrical systems, components, and standards BS7671, BS 60204, BS 61439Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Benefits Include:** Ability to work from home. ** SISTEMA training ** Full uniform and PPE. ** Health Cover – Private Medical & Dental Insurance. ** Free Parking Located in East Anglia, this role would be commutable from King\’s Lynn, Spalding, Peterborough, Wisbech, Ely and surrounding areas.
