Our client is a high-growth, professional services organisation in London (SME, Private Equity owned, international).They are looking for someone to join their transformation team, reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for driving the creation and execution of client growth plans and supporting consultant teams globally in delivering high-impact business development activity (mainly development of existing accounts). This is the first role of this kind within the organisation and is an important hire – supporting the company\’s ambitious growth agenda.This is a role with an international flavour and exposure to the senior leadership team. The key elements of the role are:Client growth planning & executionSupport and monitor, leverage company and market data to inform strategyPartner with consultant teams to drive effectiveness and continuous improvementTrack global market trends. Refine approach and identify opportunitiesEffective consultant BDCommunicate plans to the business and define expectationsWork with the business to improve BD quality and volume, using a data-driven approachIdentify/embed best practiceTake ownership of ensuring client facing teams deliver on strategic plansCampaign marketing (conduit – not looking for a marketeer)Oversee a calendar of centrally managed campaigns, via 3rd party (act as primary liaison)Manage social media presenceBD resourcesOwn, maintain and enhance sales collateral repositoryHelp optimise CRM system and other toolsSupport training and onboarding activityThe client is looking for (essential):Proven experience in sales enablement activity eg sales enablement, sales operations, sales/account/relationship management leadership, sales training/coaching, senior in a consulting capacity (it\’s not necessary to have held a Sales Enablement job title)Experience in designing and executing client growth plans and BD campaignsGood data literacy/analytical skills – be able to interpret and present data in a clear mannerTrack record of implementing change & improvement with measurable outcomesExperience of working with external marketing agenciesSolution selling knowledge Strong communication skills – written& verbal, able to influence and build rapport quicklyFinancial or professional services industry experience The following are advantageous (but definitely not essential):Experience of a consulting organisationExperience of a high-growth SME organisationExperience of working in a fast-paced environmentExperience of working in a private-equity environmentWorking with a non-sales person workforce, but who have an element of business development in their rolesThe client requires employees to be in the office 5 days per week as a rule of thumb.
