Location: Fully onsite at GivEnergy’s Manchester City Centre office

Schedule: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts falling between 7am – 7pm, Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to £35k pa DOE and qualification level

As a Product Expert at GivEnergy, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our network of Pro Tier solar and storage installers. You will be the first point of contact for technical phone support, helping installers with system quotations, installation procedures, and product commissioning. Your in-depth product knowledge and communication skills will ensure a smooth experience for our partners and uphold the technical excellence GivEnergy is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time phone support to installers during quoting, installation, and commissioning of GivEnergy products.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with clarity and confidence, ensuring installers feel supported and informed.
  • Guide installers through system configuration, product compatibility, and optimal system design.
  • Document and log all support cases with accuracy for internal tracking and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, product development) to provide feedback and contribute to ongoing product improvement.
  • Stay up to date with GivEnergy’s evolving product range and technical documentation.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical call centre or similar support environment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience working with electrical, renewable, or energy storage systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a calm and supportive manner under pressure.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
