As Product Director on F1 Clash, you will work closely with the Creative Director to lead a hugely successful title to new heights. You will own the commercial operation of the title and work with a passionate team of developers to continue delivering a breakout experience for F1 fans around the world.
You are a keen gamer with a passion for the mobile F2P market but also the ability to pull from your experience of games across all platforms. You will report to the company Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities:- Own the commercial growth of F1 Clash.
- Lay out a dynamic and live business strategy for the product by understanding what makes the game tick, how players behave and respond, how reference games drive growth and how we can learn from them.
- Be the fan-bearer for the use of data in all aspects of the game's development.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure that business strategy and creative strategy are in sync.
- Use strong analytical skills to monitor game performance, understand the interactions between UA performance and game performance, and help make data-informed decisions to balance the needs of the business vs the needs of the players.
- Ensure that ambitions for the game can be translated into effective and achievable tasks for the team.
- Oversee the use of Live ops and CRM to maximise their potential.
- Be responsible for the Product Management team on the project.
- Work with the Producer and Creative Director on the team's approach to development, culture and management.
- Present and communicate the game's performance and business strategy to the team, Hutch stakeholders, the wider business and external partners.
- An experienced Game Director or Lead Product Manager with multiple shipped mobile F2P games under your belt.
- Driven by commercial success.
- A strong understanding of games-as-a-service, F2P and monetisation.
- A laser focus on always moving things forward, breaking strategies into a tactical plan and ensuring delivery against that.
- A passion for F1 is desirable but, as a minimum, you need to be excited and motivated by the prospect of immersing yourself in the F1 universe.
- Experience taking a lean approach in a data-led environment to balance speed with risk.
- Communicate effortlessly, lightly, and respectfully.
- A relentless curiosity for the mobile games market, its history, trends and consumers.
- Open to feedback and taking on-board ideas from your team and the ever-evolving industry.
