This is your chance to step into a high-impact role at a company that, despite its global reach, has never lost its close-knit, values-led culture. In fact, they’ve been recognised with awards like the Most Creative Employee Engagement Communications Strategy, highlighting their commitment to innovation, collaboration, and putting their people first.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of sourcing and managing the supply of ingredients such as wheat, sugar, palm oil, and dairy products - the core ingredients behind some of the UK’s best-loved products. You’ll be at the heart of the business, helping shape sustainable sourcing strategies, forging strong supplier partnerships, and aligning procurement efforts with new product development and long-term growth goals.

If you’re a proactive procurement professional looking for a role where flexibility is supported, whilst you can make a tangible impact working with a supportive and forward-thinking team - this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, particularly NPD, to drive innovation through new ingredient sourcing while embedding ethical and sustainable practices into procurement strategies and staying informed on market and environmental trends.
  • Optimise procurement processes and systems to boost efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and cost-effectiveness, while ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate documentation of contracts, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Act as a key link between Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development to align strategies, support innovation through market insights, and ensure seamless communication across departments.

To thrive in this role, candidates will need a track record in procurement, ideally within food production or commodity purchasing. Experience in sourcing raw materials or ingredients would be a strong advantage and highly valued from the outset.
