With ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.As part of a strategic initiative to centralise outwards reinsurance operational support, we are building a new Outwards Reinsurance team within Underwriting Operations. We are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Outwards Reinsurance Analyst to support this transformation and help shape the future of our reinsurance operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess outwards reinsurance policies and maintain accurate records in the policy administration system.Support the netting-down process for outwards reinsurance.Reconcile facultative reinsurance to inwards premium and claims bordereaux.Prepare and issue statements for reinsurance recoveries and premiums.Monitor and process reinsurance advices and recoveries.Assist with bordereaux preparation, LORs processing, and collateralised reinsurance tracking.Provide administrative support across the full post-placement lifecycle.Contribute to the collation of renewal placing information and ad-hoc tasks as required.What We’re Looking ForPrior experience in reinsurance, ideally within the Lloyd’s or London market.Solid understanding of reinsurance structures (e.g., Excess of Loss, Quota Share, Facultative).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Data-driven and compliance-focused.Key StakeholdersYou’ll work closely with senior leadership, underwriting teams, risk and compliance, and external regulatory bodies including Lloyd’s, PRA, and FCA.
