We’re hiring a Network Pre-Sales Consultant for a high-growth, Cisco Gold Partner delivering cutting-edge infrastructure and security solutions to major enterprise and public sector clients. This is a home-based role with travel to client sites and a London office — with all travel fully expensed.
The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running, engaging with customers from day one and providing High-Level Designs (HLDs), Bill of Materials (BoMs), and presales support for complex Cisco-led projects. This is a key strategic hire, and you will join a team delivering exciting projects across Cisco LAN/WAN/Wireless, Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto, and even Cisco Private 5G deployments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading technical presales engagements with enterprise and public sector customers
- Scoping solutions across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Security
- Producing High-Level Designs (HLDs), architecture diagrams, and detailed BoMs
- Supporting sales teams in client meetings, tenders, and technical presentations
- Representing the business in a 1-stage interview process – delivering a presentation on Cisco solutions
- Acting as a trusted advisor across Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and HPE Aruba technologies
- Contributing to innovative projects, including Cisco Private 5G initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Presales role with a Cisco Partner (Cisco Gold Partner experience is essential)
- Strong knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking solutions (R&S, Wireless, SD-WAN, DNA)
- Experience producing BoMs and HLDs for complex network projects
- Confident communicator able to engage with technical and commercial stakeholders
- Broad familiarity with Fortinet, HPE Aruba, and Palo Alto solutions
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (mainly London), the London office, and very occasionally Dublin
