Accordingly, the Wealth & Asset Management Risk & Regulation Team look to offer both breadth and depth in all Regulatory / Compliance and Risk Management initiatives ranging from Regulatory Change programmes, Regulatory Due Diligence services during transactions, providing advice on a specific element of the Conduct or Risk Management Frameworks in more detail, through to delivering a full Risk and Compliance Transformation programmes for the client, collaborating with multiple EY Teams.Your key responsibilitiesAs a Manager within the Wealth & Asset Management Risk & Regulation Team, typical engagements you can expect to be involved in include the following:Risk Management Frameworks including governance arrangements, risk appetite, control frameworks, Risk MI & Reporting, Risk Management CultureCompliance Target Operating Model including Compliance MonitoringRegulatory Change programmesRegulatory Due Diligence during transactionsSkilled Person ReviewsReview & Recommend reports on FCA Handbook rulesInvestment RiskFunds regulation in UK and EuropeRegulatory ReportingFund and legal entity authorisationsYou will:Contribute to the articulation of EY findings, conclusions and recommendations in writing or verballySupport the analysis of emerging issues, the articulation of an EY point of view and the development of an EY propositionBe responsible for engagement planning, management, and leading small teams in wealth & asset management engagementsWork effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support and updating senior members on progressMentor staff and conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staffSupport bids and proposals for new client opportunities and grow existing valued relationshipsSkills and attributes for successExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong project management experienceAbility to prioritise and challengeStrong academic backgroundAbility to build networks and relationshipsHave strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentationsHave a proactive attitude.To qualify for the role you must have:Experience of working within a Wealth and/or Asset Manager\’s Risk & Compliance Team OR experience of delivering Risk & Regulatory services for another Advisory firmKnowledge and experience of Risk Management Frameworks in Wealth & Asset ManagersUp to date knowledge of the regulatory environment impacting Wealth & Asset ManagementWhat we look forWe are looking for people passionate about accelerating their careers in Wealth & Asset Management and who want to help transform the financial services industry.
