Due to the continued growth and development of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Test Engineer on a six month, fixed-term contract, to be based at our Head Office in Basingstoke.

The role:

  • Implement the V&V strategy in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR.
  • Develop process improvements to streamline test activities and enhance efficiency.
  • V&V test planning, execution and reporting.
  • Work with product development and other teams across the company to define testing strategies.
  • Develop detailed test plans per specifications.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases.
  • Evaluate, select and develop test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Ensure that all test developments follow a disciplined engineering process.
  • Provide test forecasts and identify test lab needs for future projects.
  • Communicate status regularly to peers and senior management.
  • Support preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Develop test procedures and work instructions as required by programs.

What are we looking for?

To be considered for the Junior Test Engineer opportunity, you will have the following:

  • BSc/BEng in Science or Engineering related discipline.
  • Previous experience in testing, preferably in regulated industries (Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Aerospace).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple challenging, unstructured areas of responsibility.
  • A naturally inquisitive person and problem solver.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
