IT Service Manager – 12-Month FTC £45,000 – £55,000 Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid working available)We’re looking for an experienced IT Service Manager to lead the delivery and support of IT services within professional services for a public sector client of ours in Manchester. This is a pivotal role, ensuring IT services effectively support key academic and administrative functions.You’ll be responsible for:Overseeing day-to-day service management and continuous improvementSupporting incident, problem, and project delivery activitiesEngaging with stakeholders to deliver tailored, high-quality IT solutionsManaging budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance standardsPromoting service excellence and team developmentWhat you’ll bring:Strong leadership in IT service delivery, ideally in a higher education or large public sector environmentITIL Foundation certification (higher-level ITIL qualifications desirable)Proven ability to manage complex services and influence a wide range of stakeholdersA collaborative, adaptable, and customer-focused mindsetWe are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, and actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
