This position is responsible for developing and implementing communications to engage and inform colleagues across the organisation. The postholder will work closely with senior management to ensure consistent messaging and the effective maintenance of communication channels. The role also involves managing and enhancing internal communication platforms and organising internal events to foster a positive organisational culture.
Responsibilities
- Leading and driving continuous improvement in internal communication channels, utilising the relevant technology platform.
- Securing senior leadership approval for a strategic business case that clearly recommends the optimal solution to achieve project objectives and desired outcomes.
- Overseeing the implementation of new technology for digital internal communications.
- Managing performance and productivity, and overseeing governance, administration, and project status, in collaboration with the project manager.
- Maintaining and reporting on the budget for current and planned resource and funding requirements for digital communications programmes and services.
- Ensuring that internal communications projects and programmes are assessed for compliance with current regulatory and organisational standards.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve day-to-day issues and deliver successful outcomes.
- Understanding colleague journeys, messaging, and engagement objectives for internal audiences.
- Working closely with the Digital and Data team to understand the current digital architecture supporting communication channels, and to identify opportunities and challenges for implementing new solutions.
