A client I\’m working with based in the East Midlands is recruiting for Housing Options Officer on an interim basis for the initial course of 3 months. Working pattern: Hybrid (1-2 days p/w in the office)Rate: Negotiable To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience: Previous experience as a Housing Options Officer is essential. Conducting Section 184s in line with relevant housing legislation.Implementing Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 when reviewing homeless cases.Management of the housing register.Investigating homelessness applications and applying legislation, codes of guidance and case law to make lawful homeless decisions.Experience of working with vulnerable customers and providing housing related advice.If this role sounds of interest to you or someone you know, please reach out to me with an updated version of your CV.
