ROLE PROFILE

The appointment will be on a part-time permanent basis. We offer a friendly working environment, competitive salary, and additional employee benefits:

JOB ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Transport & Logistics, the HGV Driver will be an integral part of the Transport & Logistics team.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Driving large goods vehicles, with tipping or walking floor trailer (modern fleet)
  • Planning of routes and adhering to customer and NWP sites collection/delivery times
  • Complete customer collections from various facilities in NI & ROI
  • Carry out general housekeeping of unit and trailer

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Essential Selection Criteria:

Knowledge / experience

  • Hold an in-date Class 1, clean driving license
  • Minimum of 5 years HGV driving experience
  • Full CPC qualification
  • Valid tachograph card
  • Employed directly by employer (no agency)

Skills / abilities

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work safely and adhering to site rules and procedures
