We’re looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Fractional Head of Product to help lead the product strategy and execution of a fast-growing, AI-powered business. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and customer value — acting as the critical bridge between the CEO and the VP of Engineering.
As a senior product leader, you’ll help shape and refine our roadmap, ensuring it aligns with commercial priorities, market realities, and our long-term strategic vision. You will work side-by-side with the CEO on high-level priorities while also collaborating deeply with engineering to make sure we’re building the right things — the right way.
You’ll be central to the development of our new AI-powered product — a major, two-year initiative designed to become a separate business line alongside our core offering. This isn’t just about building great tech — it’s about building smart, high-impact products that improve client outcomes, drive new revenue, and increase business efficiency.
This is a fractional role, ideal for a seasoned product leader who enjoys working in lean, high-velocity environments and wants to make a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the product strategy in close partnership with the CEO and VP of Engineering.
- Translate business objectives into a product roadmap that balances technical feasibility, market fit, and commercial impact.
- Ensure all product initiatives directly contribute to business growth, client value, or operational efficiency.
- Act as the connective tissue between the CEO and VP of Engineering — helping balance vision with execution and long-term architecture with short-term deliverables.
- Champion customer and stakeholder needs across design, engineering, and commercial functions.
- Lead prioritisation efforts and ensure resources are focused on the highest-value initiatives.
- Guide the early-stage build of a new AI-driven product that will operate as a distinct business line.
- Help define MVP scope, validation processes, and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the CEO.
- Ensure the product leverages AI meaningfully — enhancing client results, improving internal efficiency, and creating long-term defensibility.
- Drive clarity around product objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
- Make pragmatic trade-offs between technical complexity, time-to-market, and revenue impact.
- Regularly communicate progress and risks to the CEO and leadership team.
- 8+ years of product leadership experience, ideally with some time in a tech-enabled or AI-driven business.
- Deep understanding of software development processes and comfort working closely with engineers on technical decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen — able to connect product thinking to revenue, margins, and strategic outcomes.
- Experience building new products from ideation to implementation, especially in B2B or platform environments.
- Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and work across time zones and teams.
- Excellent communication, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with ad tech, performance marketing platforms, or data-driven marketplaces.
- Background in SaaS or agency-like business models.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, tools, and use cases.
- Exposure to early-stage startups or fractional/consultative roles.
A key leadership position helping shape the future of a fast-scaling tech company with direct collaboration with the CEO and VP of Engineering. The chance to help launch a new AI-powered product with clear commercial upside. Flexible, remote-first working — ideal for someone taking on a fractional portfolio. Competitive compensation and the opportunity to grow your role as the business scales.
This role is ideal for someone who combines product depth with commercial instinct and can switch fluidly between strategic thinking and operational execution. If you’re excited by building meaningful, AI-driven products and working with a mission-led, high-performance team — we’d love to hear from you.
