The Financial Institutions (FI) Sales Head is the global sales leader focused on Payments, Liquidity Management and Trade and Working Capital Solutions for this client segment, which includes Banks and Broker Dealers, Insurance, Asset Managers, Specialty Finance and FinTech. We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented sales leader to drive revenue growth and client engagement across the segment globally. This critical role involves developing and executing sales strategies, leading a high-performing team, building strategic partnerships, and fostering a culture of innovation and client-centricity. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the financial services landscape and a proven track record of success in sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global sales strategies for Payments, Liquidity Management and Trade and Working Capital Solutions for the FI segment (Banks/Brokers, Insurance, Asset Managers, Specialty Finance, and Fintech).
- Lead and mentor a global sales team, driving performance, fostering collaboration, and promoting professional development.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders within financial institutions, positioning Citi as a trusted partner.
- Oversee sales origination, revenue realization, client retention, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Champion innovative solutions and thought leadership across Payments, Liquidity Management and Trade and Working Capital Solutions to address client needs and enhance market position.
- Manage and mitigate risks within the Foreign Correspondent Banks (FCB) and Payment Intermediaries (PI) client portfolios.
- Collaborate closely with Banking, Product, Operations, Technology, and other internal partners to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Utilize data-driven insights and sales management tools to monitor performance, track key metrics, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing P&L and driving profitable growth.
- Ability to manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
