Full Stack WordPress Developer - £75,000 - £95,000 Fully remote (very occasional visits to London)

The Company

A well leading media company with a presence across the UK and online. They have offices in central London but are remote first and tend to meet up once a month or for important meetings/events. They have an established development team, due to continued growth and some exciting upcoming projects are looking for an additional Senior WordPress engineer to join the team.

The Role

  • Maintain and develop new WordPress features
  • Build and maintain plugins
  • Work on maintaining microservices and JavaScript elements of the stack which work alongside WordPress
  • Prioritise your workload and liaise with colleagues in other teams to ensure collaboration
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with WordPress
  • Strong knowledge of Gutenberg and best practices
  • Ability to create custom Gutenberg blocks
  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML and CSS
  • Front End development experience in JavaScript and React
  • Knowledge of VCS and Git
  • Ability to communicate your ways of working and collaborate with team members
