About ADVSR

ADVSR is a real estate marketing platform designed for high-performing agents and developers around the world. We're building the connective infrastructure for prime and super-prime real estate - a space where reputation, trust, and visibility matter. With $15B+ of inventory already on the platform and partnerships forming globally, we're scaling fast. We're a small, driven team operating in a high-agency, high-ownership environment. We move fast, ship weekly, and build iteratively. Every decision you make here has an impact - which is exactly how we like it.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer who can take ownership of our codebase and infrastructure, while collaborating across product, marketing, and sales to continuously improve the platform. This role replaces our outgoing engineering lead and will be the most senior technical person in-house. You'll be accountable for quality, performance, and delivery - while working with a trusted network of outsourced developers to ship features fast. We don't expect you to have all the answers on day one, but we do expect you to take the lead, communicate clearly, and figure things out quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the build, maintenance, and evolution of our core platform (Laravel backend, React frontend)
  • Own our CI/CD pipeline, QA workflows, and deployment process (staging + production)
  • Monitor and improve infrastructure (AWS, GitHub, Docker, Mailgun, etc.)
  • Set engineering standards and ensure code quality across the stack
  • Manage and collaborate with outsourced developers
  • Contribute to product roadmap discussions and make technical recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
  • Write well-structured, testable, performant code - and ship it quickly
  • Act as a technical sounding board to the co-founder and cross-functional team
  • Triage and execute hotfixes, lead platform QA, and manage release cycles

What We’re Looking For

Tech Stack & Skills

  • Expert-level knowledge of PHP (Laravel)
  • Proficiency in React and frontend migration from Blade
  • Solid infrastructure/devops experience: AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD
  • Experience building and scaling web applications in fast-moving environments
  • Strong understanding of web security, RESTful APIs, and database management

Mindset & Experience

  • Proven success in startups or agency environments – you’re used to delivering under pressure
  • High agency, self-starting, resourceful – you ship with what you have, not what you wish for
  • Comfortable working across disciplines – from designers to marketers to product
  • Confident communicator – can explain trade-offs to non-technical teammates
  • Fast mover – willing to iterate, test, and improve continuously
  • Clear prioritiser – knows how to balance speed with quality, without hand-holding

Nice to Haves

  • Experience leading or mentoring remote teams
  • Exposure to performance optimization and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with platforms in e-commerce, AI, crypto, or other pioneering tech industries

Why Join Us?

  • Work directly with the founding team in a high-impact role
  • Be the lead engineer on a platform that’s changing how prime real estate is marketed
  • Help shape the future of an ambitious proptech startup with global reach
  • Real ownership, not just over code - but over how the platform evolves
  • A fun, fast-paced, no-nonsense team building something that’s never been built before
