Join our dynamic team as an HGV Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy goods vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to keep our transportation operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of HGVs to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy trucks, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and transmission components.
Diagnostics, repair and maintenance on the company's fleet of trucks (Volvo, Scania, MAN), trailers and small plant machinery

Requirements

Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or in a similar heavy vehicle repair role.
Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical faults.
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience working with HGVs / large vehicles
Relevant mechanical qualification (Mechanical BTEC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3)

The role would also be suited to a qualified car mechanic who is looking to progress in their career. Full training and support will be provided.

Pay: From Β£18.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
