An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced & Trainee Telecommunication Engineers to join our team based in Milton Keynes. The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful Engineers will be working as part of a ‘hands on’ team responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and testing of a range of in-building wireless communication systems throughout the UK. The role will consist of the following: In-building installation – Cat 6, Fibre and RF cablingCommissioning of in-building wireless systemsPreparing reportsTroubleshoot complex multi-area issues to identify root cause and corrective actionLiaising with other departments and customersResolve critical network problemsErect and maintain mobile telecommunications infrastructureLocates and repairs faults to lines and ancillary equipmentConnect cables and test for any defects The Candidate: To be considered for our Telecommunication Engineer positions, we are looking for candidates who have the following skills, qualifications and experience: Competent user of MS Office Suite, Excel, Word & PowerPointPrevious experience gained within a similar industry/roleHave a flexible approach to the working day (this position will involve travel and sometimes working outside normal business hours)Enthusiastic and positive attitude with good communication skillsAbility to thrive in a diverse cultural environmentAbility to organise and prioritise work and to meet demanding deadlines with a high attention to detailStrong knowledge of data networks and network featuresPrepared to travel and work away from home when required Education & Qualifications: Have held a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months and have no more than 6 pointsMust be eligible to live and work in the UKCNCI or NVQ level qualifications desiredStrong knowledge of data networks and network features If you feel you possess the relevant skills and experience to undertake the Telecommunications Engineer role then please send your cv by return.
