This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Wholesale Assistant located in Newry. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as assisting with inventory management, unloading supplier deliveries, serving customers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the wholesale department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generation of Sales/Purchase Orders
- Quotation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing of sales
- Develop and maintain customer databases (prospective and current customers)
- Service the electrical wholesale customers, both trade and public
- Manage customers' trade accounts
- Responsible for all stock control, ensuring sufficient levels during peak times to achieve maximum sales

- Knowledge of electrical products and lighting fixtures is a bonus

- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately at pace, in a methodical and tidy manner
