Airbotics Talent has partnered with a leading UK drone platform provider operating on an international scale with world-class technology. Our client has won several large international projects, requiring the hiring of two Drone Pilots / Operators motivated to work overseas on a rotation basis.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to operate cutting-edge fixed-wing drones in an international environment on critical commercial and humanitarian missions. You will be responsible for pre-flight mission planning, conducting risk assessments, developing Concept of Operations (ConOps), and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, you will collect field data, perform basic UAV maintenance and repairs, and complete necessary documentation. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will support other Operators and colleagues in the field to deliver complex missions and shared goals, as well as support broader training and development.
Requirements
- A passion for aviation technology and a safety-conscious approach
- Experience in operating/piloting drones in a commercial or military setting (preferred)
- A positive, team-focused attitude, supporting other Operators in reaching goals
- Currently based in the UK with the relevant right to work
- The ability to spend 4-6 weeks away from home in the field, both domestically and internationally
