Lead an exciting and distinctive Higher Education portfolio and shape the future of industry-relevant HE in fashion, beauty, and related fields. The Director of Higher Education will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership across all aspects of our HE provision, ensuring high-quality student outcomes, regulatory compliance, and future-focused innovation. This role will shape and oversee the delivery of exceptional HE programmes and the creation of new offerings that align with our growth strategy.
The postholder will lead our HE division with direct reports from Heads of Department. This is the most senior role exclusively dedicated to Higher Education in the organisation and will be pivotal in positioning us as a distinctive, high-quality provider of industry-driven HE. You will lead on curriculum design, quality, innovation, and learner experience, with a strong focus on outcomes, progression, and collaboration.

About you
- Qualifications: Relevant degree and doctorate or relevant postgraduate qualification (desirable).
- Experience: Proven senior leadership experience in Higher Education, with a successful track record of driving quality improvement, curriculum innovation, and enhanced student outcomes.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the UK Higher Education regulatory and policy environment, with strong expertise in quality assurance, enhancement, and risk management.
- Skills: Skilled at building high-performing, collaborative teams and leading cross-functional projects across multiple disciplines; confident in representing educational provision to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, governors, and inspectors.
- Passion: Driven by a passion for inclusive, industry-aligned education and committed to raising aspirations for all learners, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire outstanding teaching teams.
