As the Director of Data Insights and Analytics, you will be the strategic and technical lead responsible for building a best-in-class data function focused on driving revenue performance. This role will sit at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and data science, and will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Tech teams. You’ll lead the development of robust data pipelines, ensure data quality and governance, design advanced analytics capabilities, and build predictive models to optimize revenue outcomes.

Your Responsibilities- Data Strategy & Infrastructure: Design and implement a comprehensive road map that empowers go-to-market (GTM) departments to make informed, data-led decisions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer, and Tech teams to deliver insights that inform strategic direction and enhance overall business outcomes.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines that support revenue analytics across the customer lifecycle.
- Lead integration across CRM, CS, billing, and product usage platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight, Hubspot, Clickhouse, Databricks).
- Define and enforce best practices in data integrity, lineage, and governance to ensure trusted and unified reporting.
- Ensure thorough documentation for data processes, systems architecture, and stakeholder dependencies, promoting transparency and cross-team efficiency.
- Build and evolve dashboards, KPIs, and reporting suites that measure performance across Sales and Customer Success.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for revenue leaders.
- Partner with RevOps and GTM leadership to develop pipeline forecasting, churn analysis, segmentation strategies, and performance attribution models.
- Develop and deploy predictive models to support lead scoring, customer health scoring, revenue forecasting, upsell/cross-sell propensity, and retention.
- Evaluate and continuously improve model accuracy, bias, and effectiveness using advanced statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed intelligence into operational workflows and systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, scientists, and engineers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Champion a practice of experimentation, curiosity, and data literacy across the Revenue organization.
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science or business intelligence, with a proven focus on Revenue, Sales, or Customer organisations.
- At least 4 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional data teams in a SaaS, tech or AI-driven company.
- B2B Experience. Develop and track key performance metrics related to sales-assist growth, cost of acquisition, pipeline health, conversion efficiency, sales productivity and customer retention.
- Deep understanding of CRM and Customer Success data models (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight).
- Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines with modern tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Snowflake).
- Proven success developing and operationalizing predictive models using Python or SQL.
- Expert-level skills in data visualization and BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Metabase).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong personal impact. Ability to present to and influence senior leaders, ability to challenge and communicate complex subjects in a simple way.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
