We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from groups currently under-represented, including people with disabilities, those from minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgroundsThis post is based within the Advice Shop where the successful candidate will contribute to the Community Planning Partnership Tackling Poverty Strategy through targeted activity to support those impacted by welfare reform.They will be responsible for ongoing research and horizon scanning to identify target groups likely to be disproportionately impacted by welfare reform or at higher risk of poverty, and will work to develop targeted campaigns to maximise income and improve financial wellbeing. This post will lead on responses and/or information for the preparation of responses to consultative documents issued by Audit bodies, UK and Scottish Government and other professional bodies.The post holder will work with a wide range of partners to raise awareness of key policy changes and the potential impact through an ongoing programme of training and development of resources. They will work to strengthen partnership working through the establishment of a local Advice Provider\’s Network to promote information sharing and best practice to support individuals experiencing poverty.The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the progress of activity and reporting regularly to identify most effective interventions and activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
