With a deep-rooted presence in capital markets, the organisation is investing in building a scalable and secure cloud environment to better serve its internal teams and external partners.This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pivotal transformation programme that will modernise critical systems and redefine the organisation’s cloud footprint.The RoleWe’re seeking a highly capable Cloud Project Manager to lead the cloud migration programme within the European Applications department. You will be responsible for the delivery of migration projects to AWS, working closely with stakeholders across IT, governance, operations, and leadership to ensure milestones are met and risks are effectively managed.This is a high-impact role where you will help shape the cloud roadmap, align project activities with broader strategic goals, and establish robust governance around delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver the European Applications cloud migration programme to AWSDefine and maintain the transformation roadmap in collaboration with senior stakeholdersEnforce project governance in line with organisational standardsCoordinate working groups and monitor progress through defined metricsIdentify risks, manage issues, and ensure mitigation strategies are in placeProvide clear and regular reporting to the Cloud Governance Group and Technology ManagementPromote a culture of testing and effective transition to operations, embedding cloud metrics into BAU reportingSupport efforts to drive automation and operational efficiencies across cloud servicesWhat We’re Looking ForDemonstrated experience delivering cloud migration projects (AWS experience is essential)Proven ability to manage complex technology projects in financial services or other regulated sectorsFamiliarity with project management frameworks and the ability to tailor approaches to suit requirementsA self-starter with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and remote stakeholdersStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing at senior levelsProficiency with tools such as Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) and Microsoft OfficeRelevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)A background in application development or infrastructure is highly desirableAdditional InformationThis role will involve handling and processing personal data, including sensitive data, in accordance with internal GDPR and data protection policies.If you are a line manager, you will be expected to promote data protection best practices within your team.Why Apply?Join a globally respected financial institution at the forefront of cloud transformationTake ownership of a key strategic programme with real visibility and impactWork in a collaborative, international environment that values innovation and rigorFixed-term opportunity with potential for long-term growth or future engagementsInterested?Apply now to be part of a transformation that’s reshaping the future of financial services technology.At Inara Talent, we believe everyone deserves a fair chance to shine.
