Chief Investment Officer (CIO) – Multi-Family Office / Institutional Investment ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer to lead our family office\’s investment strategy and portfolio management across both public and private markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in multi-asset portfolio management, risk assessment, and investment operations oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive investment strategies across public and private marketsLead asset allocation decisions and portfolio rebalancing across liquid and illiquid investmentsManagement of global liquid investment portfolios including equities, fixed income, FX, and structured productsOversee the selection and monitoring of external investment managers and fundsLead the private equity investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoringMonitor and analyse global market conditions and macroeconomic trendsImplement robust risk management frameworks across all investment activitiesEnsure portfolio diversification, and regular portfolio stress testing and scenario analysis is conducted from a risk management perspectiveEnsure monitoring of investment performance and attribution analysis is conducted in line with the policyOversee counterparty risk management and exposure limitsLeadership & OperationsLead and develop the investment teamChair the Investment Committee and present recommendations to stakeholdersEstablish and maintain investment policies, procedures, and guidelinesOversee investment operations, including trade execution and settlementEnsure relationships with key service providers, including custodians and prime brokers, are managed appropriately with the operational teams to ensure smooth running of the business.Requirements15+ years of investment management experience with proven track recordExtensive experience across multiple asset classes including public and private marketsStrong understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and attribution analysisAdvanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related fieldDemonstrated leadership experience managing investment professionalsExcellence in investment research and analysisExperience working with family offices or UHNW clients as well as institutional investorsStrong network within the investment management industryPersonal QualitiesHigh ethical standards and integrityStrategic thinker with strong analytical skillsExcellent judgment and decision-making abilitiesAbility to communicate complex investment concepts clearlyCollaborative approach to team leadershipEntrepreneurial mindset with strong attention to detailThis is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned investment professional to shape and lead the investment strategy for a sophisticated multi-family office/institutional investment firm.If you feel that this opportunity could be of interest to you, please contact Thomas Peters by phone at +44 20 7970 9640 or email Thomas.peters@psdgroup.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
